Tours for School Groups
At Indian Grinding Rock State Historic Park, group tours are available by reservation.
Schools may sign up for a guided tour of the park and museum. Every year, hundreds of students of all ages learn first-hand about the park's unique cultural and physical history. Volunteer docents lead small groups of students and their teachers around the park's reconstructed Miwok village, chaw'se (grinding rock), hun'ge (roundhouse), and museum.
